Kathina Daan 2078

Kathina Chivar Daan is one of the most important of the Theravada Buddhists. It is believed that the one who donates Kathina Chivar to the Bhikkhu Sangha in his life will get salvation and merit by knowing other than the five great sins. Kathina Chivar Donation is given once a year on the occasion of the completion of three months of the rainy season by the monks.
